Miss Luxe Chi Chi Conchetta Dress

This dress is so elegant and classy. I love the sequined detail on the top, making it feel very christmas-y! The cream colour is really girly and elegant, and definitely works well with the black skirt. The peplum on top of the skirt is a really nice touch, and makes the dress truly unique.

I decided to pair this up with my BANK clutch, keeping the tones simple with a nude-coloured clutch.

This dress would be perfect for a christmas party, as it's formal but not too over the top.

Sam Smith Concert Outfit

On the 7th November 2014 I saw Sam Smith live in concert at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. It was one of the best performances I've ever been to! He truly is amazing live.

I'd fallen in in love with the moon, stars, sun print ever since I saw it on Motel Rocks' website. When I saw that there was a long sleeved version of the top, I knew that I just had to get it! They sell a lot of different pieces in the moon, stars, sun print, but I figured since winter's coming up that the long-sleeved top would be best.

I usually struggle to decide what to wear to concerts, but seen as this top is new I thought that I would wear it.

I decided to team it up with my trusted black Topshop skater skirt and black tights. I felt that I needed to add a pop of colour to my outfit though, so I decided to use my pink leather Grafea bag - it's perfect for travelling light!

I decided to polish the look off with subtle eye make-up and my Barry M lipstick.

First Motel Rocks Purchase: Pink Morris Flower Wrap Crop Top

I never used to buy clothes online because I always like to "try before I buy", but when I saw the beautiful clothes on Motel Rocks' website I just had to get something!

I flicked through their sale page and stumbled across the "Wrap Crop Top in Pink Morris Flower". I thought it looked really cute, so I ordered it.

When it came I was so pleased! Apart from the fact that I had to roll the sleeves a bit, it fit really well. The pink colour is gorgeous, and the Morris flower pattern adds even more girly-ness.

As this top is a crop top, I thought that pairing it up with my Topshop Joni jeans would be best. I also decided to wear a black camisole underneath, as the V Neck is quite deep.

As for jewellery, I wore my Links of London and two shamballa bracelets, and flower earrings to match the pattern of the top.

Autumn Look

I adore playsuits, and this brand new one has to be my favourite!

It has long sleeves so it's perfect for this time of year. Also, it has a lining underneath, giving it an extra bit of warmth. I adore the pattern of butterflies and plants as it adds a splash of colour without being too over the top. I paired this playsuit up with tights, chelsea boots and my River Island handbag.

I think this Lyla Loves statement necklace is super pretty! I'm obsessed with statement necklaces, so I love wearing this. The turquoise colour adds a pop of colour to any outfit, and the diamantes add a bit of sparkle too!

Pharrell Williams Concert

On the 10th of October, I went to the 02 Arena to see Pharrell Williams in concert. I had such a great time - he's amazing live!

At concerts I try not to dress up too much, but I try not to dress down either. So, to find the balance I put together an outfit with some old pieces of mine.

This River Island blouse comes with a black piece of fabric to tie in a bow. I adore this, as it gives the blouse a formal feel, without being too fancy.

I've had my Topshop skater skirt for about a year now, and it goes with most things. I thought that pairing it up with the blouse would be perfect. I definitely think that the skirt and the bow compliment each other.

To top off this monochrome look, I polished my outfit off with my Aldo handbag, black tights and my Links of London & shamballa bracelets.

Most of the pieces are old, but my lipstick is Barry M.

Ibiza 2014 Lookbook

From 6th August - 20th August I visited the beautiful island of Ibiza for two weeks. The evenings there are my favourite, as it's a great opportunity to get dressed up. So, I've decided to put together a lookbook, showcasing a few of my favourite dressed up evening looks from my holiday in Ibiza.

Look #1
For this look I decided to dress down and keep it casual. I felt that the yellow colour from the dip-dye shorts went really well with the yellow colour from the daisies, so I decided to pair them both up. I also felt that the gold metal from the sandals went really well too. I thought that a clutch bag would be too dressy with shorts and a top, so I decided to use my cream off-shoulder bag to keep my phone and lipstick in. To round the look off, I tied a section of my hair back.

Top - Topshop
Shorts - Topshop
Bag - Primark
Sandals - River Island
Glasses - Lipsy London

Look #2
For this look I wanted to be a bit more dressy. I absolutely adore this navy striped dress, as it fits me really well. I also adore the peplum waist! As this was more of a dressy outfit, I decided to team the dress up with a nude clutch bag. I stuck with the same sandals, but I added a statement necklace to finish off the neckline.

Necklace - Forever 21
Dress - H&M
Clutch Bag - BANK Fashion

Look #3
I love the peach tones in this outfit. The jewels on this top match the skirt perfectly, so I had to pair them up! Again, I also thought that the gold metal on the sandals complimented the look. As the neckline already has jewels on it, I felt that a statement necklace wasn't needed.

Top & Skirt - Both Topshop

Look #4
This is definitely my favourite dress! It's mainly pink (my favourite colour) and has yellow and pink flowers all over it. It's bodycon material, and is perfect for the summer. I teamed it up with a baby pink statement necklace, which has pink flowers on it to match the floral theme.

Statement Necklace - Forever 21
Dress - Lipsy London

Look #5
This is my absolute favourite blouse! It's not too see-through, but isn't too thick to wear in the summer. I think that it's super girly, so I felt that it would be best to pair it up with a pair of pink denim shorts! As for all my looks, I paired this up with my three signature bracelets; two shamballa bracelets and a Links of London bracelet. Also, I wore my classic white converse to make a change from my River Island sandals.

Blouse - Zara
Shorts - Topshop
Converse - Schuh

Grafea Bon Bon Bag Mini Lookbook

This first look is my go to outfit for a day at college when it's not too hot, but not too cold either. I love adding some colour to a neutral outfit, which is exactly why I chose to pair it up with my Grafea Bon Bon bag - a girly twist on a plain outfit.

I also added in one of my favourite statement necklaces from Forever 21, as the pink from the necklace matches the bag. My earrings were plain diamantes, which add a bit of sparkle to this girly outfit.

Earrings - Claire's Accessories
Necklace - Forever 21
Cardigan - New Look (Although, it is a few years old!)
Crop Top - Topshop
Joni Jeans - Topshop

Pastel colours are my favourite, so I thought that I would team them up when putting together this outfit. I thought that the mint green from the blouse and the pink from the bag really complimented each other.

Also, I wanted to stick with light tones when putting together this outfit, so I thought that my new white jeans would tick all of the right boxes. I love these white jeans, as they fit great on the leg as they're not too baggy; a problem that I tend to get when trying on a pair of jeans!

Blouse - Topshop
Jeans - River Island

The third and final outfit is one of my favourite outfits; a truly girly piece.

Sticking with pink tones, I decided to wear my pink frilled skirt, clashing the tones ever so slightly. I then added a plain white blouse, with a white camisole underneath as the blouse is cut quite low. Plus, the cream peplum jacket blended with the tones really well; plus it wasn't the warmest of days!

Jacket - River Island
Blouse - River Island
Camisole - New Look
Skirt - Topshop

Grafea Bon Bon Bag

Recently, I won Grafea's "Back To School" giveaway! I cannot thank them enough for picking me as the winner of this beautiful bag.

It's made from real leather, and the quality is excellent. It's a pastel pink colour, but is quite versatile as it will compliment a lot of other pastel colours as well, such as lilac and turquoise.

Although it looks quite small, it can fit quite a lot in it! I managed to fit most of the things I needed for an overnight stay.

As for styling, it works well with a winter outfit or a summer outfit; after all it is a pastel-coloured bag! It works really well with my cream peplum jacket and white jeans, as the light colours seem to compliment each other. I'm thinking of doing a post where I style this bag with different looks, so watch this space!

-
On another note, I'm really sorry for the lack of posting! I've just started my A-Levels, so that's very time consuming. However, I will try to post as much as I possibly can!

Outfit of The Day: 26/07/14

A few days ago, I went out for my little cousin's birthday.

It was a really sunny day, so I decided to keep my outfit simple, and to choose items of clothing that would keep me cool. Firstly, I opted for a plain white River Island blouse, a pink skirt, River Island sandals and a pink gingham hairband.

The River Island blouse is very versatile, and can be worn with almost anything. The quality of the material that it's made from is really good, but has a low V-Neck so a camisole may have to be worn underneath it.

I absolutely adore this baby pink River Island skirt! It fits really well on the waist, which is needed as I only have a small waist! It's also versatile, as it can be worn either casually or formally. It definitely fits in with girly collection of clothes!

The River Island sandals that I wore are black leather, with pieces of gold-coloured metal (The pink and blue colours are just reflections!). Although, they can't be worn for too long and have to be broken in, as they can start to hurt your feet after a while!

Finally, I wore a Topshop pink gingham scrunchie to pull back parts of my hair, along with my three signature bracelets, and a loom band that my little cousin had made for me!

Love Clothing Example Post: Get The Look

Here at Love Clothing, we're totally loving Pixie Lott's style! The "Mama Do" singer always looks amazing, and we're especially loving a recent look that she opted for when visiting Radio One:

Although Pixie is wearing designer gear from head-to-toe, we've hand-picked similar items from our own range to Pixie's so that you can get a very similar look, just with the Love Clothing touch!

Boxy Crop Top In Gingham
£20.00
Although this isn't quite the same as Pixie's crop top, we've picked this top out as it sticks with the high neck and monochrome theme. This top is very versatile, and will go with absolutely anything. You can dress this top up or down, but it goes particularly well with jeans.

Blue Acid Wash Jeans
£30.00
We love how Pixie has styled her acid wash jeans, and our acid wash skinny jeans will give you the exact same look, that's just as fabulous. The blue-colour of these jeans mean that they will go with absolutely anything and everything, although they work especially well with the gingham top shown above.

Jeffrey Campbell Scully In White
£155.00
Again, although these shoes aren't quite the same as Pixie's, we've stuck with the same sole. This chunky sole will make your feet look amazing, and give you a lot of height. They also work really well with the jeans shown above, just like Pixie's shoes work really well with her jeans.

London Adventure!

"

So today (23/07/14) I went up to London with one of my best friends Harry. We went to plenty of places, including the massive Topshop in Oxford Street and the famous Carnaby Street, but our first stop was to the "Magnum Wonder Room" in Selfridges.

As it was launched by my favourite singer (Pixie Lott), I felt like I needed to make a visit!

The "Magnum Wonder Room" is a place where you pick the flavour ice cream, chocolate that it's dipped in, the chocolate sauce, the signature Magnum chocolate, and three toppings. For my magnum, I chose vanilla ice cream dunked in dark chocolate, smothered with white chocolate sauce, with popping candy, mini brownies and white chocolate sprinkles on top. Harry's magnum was vanilla ice cream, dunked in white chocolate, smothered in dark chocolate, with milk chocolate pieces, biscuits and white chocolate sprinkles. Delicious!

As for my outfit, it was a very hot day so I needed an outfit to keep me cool! I opted for a white crop top, a sunflower patterned skirt, white frilly socks, classic white converse and coral lipstick. To top the outfit off, I teamed it up with my three signature bracelets. As for my hair, I pulled most of it back and tied it with a scrunchie.

Prom 2014

Hello everyoneeeeeeeeeee!

I'm so so so sorry that I haven't updated in a while! I'll definitely try and update a lot more now though!

Last Friday (11/07/14) I had my school prom, and it was so amazing! One of my best friends, Evelina (girl on the left in the second picture) wore a dress designed by Lauren Pope, with a nude clutch bag and nude heels.

I wore a dress that I bought from a bridal shop. My dress was peach, and had spaghetti straps and a large number of diamantes. Also, underneath the bottom half of the dress was satin, but was covered over with fabric of the same colour. To match, I bought a pair of silver heels with diamantes from Quiz Clothing, and a matching clutch bag.

As for my hair, my hairdresser styled my hair by twisting strands of my hair and pinning it with little pins. Afterwards, little clips with diamantes were put into my hair (unfortunately I don't have a picture of my hair with the diamantes in!). The little extra pieces of hair that were left over were then curled.

Luckily, my hair, make-up and nails (which were also done by my hairdresser) managed to last all through prom and the after party (which ended at 6am)!

Prom itself was amazing! There was a photobooth, pick and mix and it was a great way to celebrate. Overall, I had a brilliant time.

New River Island Off-Shoulder Palm Tree Top

As you can probably tell, I've been buying a lot of tops recently! This is due to the fact that I went through a period of hardly having any tops to wear, so I had to wear the same ones a lot!

However, now I've left school I don't have to wear a school uniform, giving me A LOT of time to wear the clothes that I want (hence the reason I've been buying a lot of tops recently).

This top is worn off of the shoulder, which is what I love about it. It's so unique, as I've never worn an off-shoulder top. It's very summer-y as well, so it's definitely in season.

This top can be worn with a huge number of things. If you want to wear it casually, you could style it with a pair of blue acid washed jeans. If you wanted to keep the colour scheme, you could team it up with a pair of black skinny jeans. If you wanted to keep the summer theme going, you could pair it up with a pair of coral shorts. The possibilities are endless!

This top is £18.00 from River Island.

Lipsy London Sale Peplum Top

Today (26/06/2014), I went shopping with one of my close friends, and I noticed that there were a lot of sales starting; hooray! Summer sales are definitely one of my favourites, as you can buy so many things for your summer holiday, and you can buy items of clothing to wear as "everyday" clothes for a fraction of the original price.

When my friend and I first arrived at the shopping centre, we wandered into Lipsy London. Outside of the shop they had a "Sale" sign, so of course we both wanted to have a look! After scanning a few of the rails, I came across this top in my size. I tried it on and it fit really well. It was meant to be £40.00, but since it was in the sale, I managed to buy it for £20.00! I hadn't bought anything from Lipsy London in ages, so it felt nice to have just bought something from that shop again.

The top is an off-white colour, and is a peplum style top. Around the top it has tiny pearls scattered around, giving it a girly look. As you may know I love girly-styled items of clothing, so of course I fell in love with this top!

In terms of styling options, as it's a peplum style top I think I may decide to keep it simple by pairing it up with a pair of skinny, acid washed, blue jeans. On my feet, I feel that this top would go best with my clear, glittery JuJus and white frilly socks. However, if I wanted to dress the top up a little bit more, I would team this up with a black bodycon skirt, nude coloured wedges and a nude coloured clutch bag. In terms of jewellery, I think that pearls would compliment and match the top best.

Monday 23 June 2014

Second Pair of JuJus!

Yesterday (22/06/14) I went shopping and bought my 2nd pair of JuJus! As I can fit into a size 2, they only cost me £15.00. However, from size 3 and upwards they would have cost me £20.00, so they're not expensive at all.

I've always found that the quality of JuJu footwear is extremely good, as I've got on well with my first pair, which are of a baby pink colour. However, I would recommend wearing socks when wearing these shoes, as they can hurt bare feet after a while!

I've also found that these shoes fit really well. As I'm a size 2 (although I can fit into some size 3 shoes), I find it hard to fit into shoes, but these shoes fit perfectly.

As for styling options, the clear colour of these shoes mean that they'll go with anything. I personally love to team them up with frilly socks, and a cute dress or skirt. They'd also go well with skinny jeans and a simple t-shirt.

Overall, I adore JuJus!

Friday 20 June 2014

New Turquoise Topshop Blouse

The other day (18/6/14), I took a lovely trip down to one of the local shopping centres with two of my best friends, and I bought this beautiful sleeveless blouse from Topshop.

Topshop is my favourite clothing shop, as their items tend to fit me quite nicely, so when I saw this blouse for £22 I knew that I had to get it!

I'm really into pastel coloured items of clothing at the moment, so I feel that this mint green/turquoise piece will fit in with my collection of pastel coloured clothes quite nicely. It has a camisole underneath part of this blouse which is of the exact same colour, so it's not too see-through, although around the sleeve area another camisole may be needed if you want full coverage.

In terms of styling options, I may pair this up with a pair of skinny acid washed jeans and white converse. Alternatively, I may decide to team this up with a denim skater skirt, turquoise or mint-coloured frilly socks and a pair of clear, glittery JuJus.

Overall, I feel that this blouse is great to wear in summer, due to it's pastel colour, and I feel that it will definitely fit in with my girly style!

Monday 16 June 2014

New River Island Blouse

Yesterday (15/06/14) I bought the most beautiful blouse from River Island for £20.

It's a cream colour, but it has a purple, pink and yellow aztec-styled print with a few dashes of grey splashed around.

It stood out from everything in that particular shop, and as soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. It's very girly, and will definitely add to my girly style and girly collection of clothes. It fits really well and is made out of good quality material. However, I would recommend wearing a white strappy camisole or something that will look nice underneath another top as it is quite small and may be see - through.

For my next blog post I may post some different styles and ways to wear this top, so please keep your eyes peeled :)

Birthday Meal Outfit

So today (14th June 2014) is my 16th birthday!

As I go to drama classes most Saturdays, I went out for a meal with my close friends and family on the Friday evening before my birthday, as a pre-birthday celebration and a celebration of the fact that my GCSE exams are now all over and done with!

My family and two of my close friends all went out for an Italian meal, and I wore a River Island top, Quiz kimono, The Ragged Priest shorts, JuJu shoes and a pink Forever 21 statement necklace. I love pastels, and baby pink and lilac are two of my favourite colours, so I figured that this would all be the perfect combination. My style is definitely girly, and I felt that this was the perfect way to show off my style.

In other news, now that my GCSE exams are over and I have a long summer ahead of me, I'm definitely going to try and start posting more. I'm aiming to do around 3-4 posts a week, but I may have to ease into it depending on how busy I am!

Jelly Shoes; love or hate?

Jelly Shoes; they seemed to have appeared from thin air. However, jelly shoes have been around for longer than some of us may have thought (including me at first. . . woops). My mother wore these shoes when she was around my age, so it seems like the trend may have passed on from one generation to the next!

There is a large difference between the shoes from the 1980s, and the shoes from now however. For example, they seemed to be made of a thinner kind of plastic, and were rather flat. Many also looked like ballet flats, but now there are many different types of styles of jelly shoes. Nowadays, many of these shoes seemed to be infused with a great big chunky heel at the back, giving them a more "stylish, yet edgy" kind of look.

However, I stuck to my girly girl style and went for the pink flat style (I only have size two feet so they're the childrens version. . .) which I adore. Baby pink is my favourite colour, so it was obvious that I would go for the shoes in this colour! Also, I wear a lot of pastel coloured items of clothing, so I felt that pairing these shoes with a pastel - coloured item would complete the look.

My main reason for buying these shoes though was for my summer holiday in Ibiza. They're so so so handy to wear on the beach and around the pool, as they can be washed easily if sand gets into them.

To conclude, these shoes are practical but will also make your feet look great; a very rare combination nowadays!

My Favourite New Blouse

Last week I saw the most beautiful blouse in River Island. When I saw the blouse for the first time, the blouse that was in a size 6 had a great big hole in the back of it (Boo!) so I visited a different River Island store and managed to find a better quality one c:

I'd been meaning to buy a new white blouse for quite some time now, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It fits really well, and is not too tight but not too baggy either. However, the neck line is quite low, so when I wear this blouse I usually wear a plain white vest top underneath. However, any colour top can be worn underneath this blouse.

As for pairing it with another item of clothing, the possibilities are endless. Here, I have paired this blouse up with a pair of my Miss Selfridge dogtooth leggings, but I prefer to pair it up with my maroon Topshop jeans, to give it more of a girly feel. Keeping with River Island, I also like to wear my black River Island blazer over the top of this blouse when the weather's chilly. However, there are all different kinds of combinations that you could have, like a leather skater skirt, or tucked into pastel denim shorts if the weather turns hot.

To sum things up, this River Island blouse is a true beauty, and can make any outfit lovely and girly.
