Miss Selfridge Mini Lookbook

I'm loving the new pieces at Miss Selfridge at the moment, as the colours and patterns make me feel like I'm adding a burst of spring to my wardrobe.

I suddenly realised that I'd bought quite a few items from there recently, so I thought that it would be a great idea to share them with you guys in the form of a mini lookbook!

I bought this monochrome skirt for a good friend of mine's birthday meal; and boy does it fit like a dream! Usually when it comes to skirts they're either too big on the waist for me or they stick out too much on the hemline, but I didn't have either of those problems with this skirt.

Another amazing thing about this skirt is that it can be worn formally or casually. Here, I've paired it with an old River Island blouse, tights and white Converse to make it girly (like me!) yet laid-back at the same time. However, if you wanted to dress it up you could team it with a lace top and heeled sandals.

I fell in love with this peach chiffon blouse as soon as I saw it!

What I first noticed was the beautiful lace detailing on the neckline, which continues to trail down the top. The detailing stands out without being over the top, giving it an effortlessly chic look.

This top's also very versatile as it can be worn as an everyday item (I've worn this to college before) or as part of a "going out" look. Here, I've paired this top with my black Joni jeans to make it casual, but also with a pair of statement earrings to glam the ensemble up a bit more. When going out, this top would look perfect with a white pencil skirt and peach/nude heels.

Off-shoulder tops are a new found love of mine and this one is definitely one of my favourites!

It's perfect for the summer as the sleeves are quite short, but it's also perfect for spring because the material is quite thick, so what's not to love?

The fact that it fits really well was also one of the main reasons that I fell in love with this top. I find it so hard to find tops that aren't too baggy or big in places, but luckily with this top I didn't have that worry.

It's also a beautiful colour. It's a peachy-pink shade (the same as my prom dress!), making it a perfect addition to my constantly expanding wardrobe.

To keep the tones light, I decided to team it with my brand new white Joni jeans (which also fit really well too!), pearl earrings and silver heart necklace. However, when I visit Ibiza in the summer I might team it with a pair of high-waisted denim shorts and sandals.
